Brief
Galletti is a family business in Ecuador that began in 1996 as a cafeteria specialized in selling the best of Ecuadorian coffee in the New York style, founded by the Galletti family who came from New York to Quito to create a specialty coffee brand that today is a pioneer in the coffee industry and a leader in the search and selection of the most special and extraordinary coffees in Ecuador.
Café Galletti works hand in hand with small producers to position Ecuadorian coffee on the map of the best coffees in the world, supporting more than 2,600 families involved in the value chain, guaranteeing a fair price and supporting social initiatives such as the financial independence of women, the eradication of family violence and the conservation of ecosystems.
With more than 7 specialty coffees, new products and a latent export market, Galletti required an adjustment of its visual system to compete in a global market, hereby we are working on a brand redesign where the coffee bean was eliminated, we modified typography to provide harmony and improve graphic quality, without forgetting the essence of its trajectory as a company. To reinforce the new image of Galletti, we designed the coffee packaging using illustrations characteristic of the origin of each one, composed of landscapes with characters, fauna and flora to connect people with the origin of these extraordinary coffees in each sip. Do you dare to have a Galletti coffee?
SOLUTION
We worked on a typographic brand and an emblem built from a bottle of human effigy typical of the Mayo Chinchipe - Marañon culture where the mind and body illuminating chocolate drink was prepared, in the packaging we work with geometric illustrations based on the fauna and graphics of the Amazon region and its culture.
